In the unlikely event that you may request a refund, and as long as the documentation is returned in full, once received, we will ensure a full refund but ONLY IF YOU HAVE DECIDED NOT TO REGISTER YOUR LAND at the time of purchase, and you have decided to register your land at a more convenient time. If you decided not to register your land at the time of purchase, then you will have received a letter in your pack explaining how you can do this.

As you are purchasing land in the same way you would purchase any property, once it is sold to you it is no longer our property.  Once you purchase your land from Emerald Heritage, the land property is legally owned and transferred to you and registered with the Land Registry – Registry of Deeds Northern Ireland.  We no longer own the property.  Therefore, we CANNOT OFFER A REFUND because we cannot resell your property; and it is not our property to resell.   However, you can sell your land to someone else and request a re-issue of documents. Once the land is legally owned by you, we cannot change this.

You should firstly contact our customer sales team by email, to confirm that you qualify for a refund as per our refund policy. Please simply return the unused product which must be in the same condition you received it, within 30 days of the day that the order was dispatched to you. You must include your proof of purchase, as without them the return of the product will be refused. It should be noted that we are not responsible for paying postage or delivery costs for the return of the goods.

Subject to you complying with the above conditions regarding the return of the goods, we will re-credit you via the same method of payment that you used when you placed the order with us.  You will receive your refund once we have received your returned order/item(s) in the same condition it was dispatched to you, unopened and unused. Please ensure that you include a brief explanation for the return of the goods and the authorisation code given to you by our staff authorizing a return of the goods.  To receive your authorisation code, you must first contact uscontact us in the first instance within 30 days of the dispatch of your order. We are not responsible for postage or delivery costs of returned goods.

Please note, that we do not offer refunds due to a simply change of mind as this is a personalised product that cannot be resold/used again. We also do not offer refunds on the basis that you were unaware of the location, as this is clearly shown throughout and prior to the payment process.

It is up to you to ensure that the product is returned to us unopened, unused and in the same condition it was when it was dispatched to you. We can at our discretion refuse a refund should you have used the product, opened the product or damaged the product and this includes anything that would cause deterioration of the product.

We make no claim or representation to meet your requirements that the product you have ordered will be fit for your purpose or make any guarantees that we will meet your expectations or specific results from the use of our services/products.  During your decision process our website must not be relied upon regarding any action to purchase that you have made.

We may change the content of our terms and conditions from time to time. You will be bound by these terms and conditions from the first time you use this site and any time in the future.

Goods are not supplied on a trial basis and it is the Buyer’s responsibility to check the suitability for the purpose prior to ordering

After the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods and you must take reasonable care to ensure that the goods are not damaged before they are returned or while in transit.

If you purport to cancel the contract other than in accordance with these terms and conditions we shall decide at our sole discretion whether or not to cancel the contract.

Any claims for lost items will not be accepted if you cannot provide proof of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot stop an order once it has been confirmed by us. If you change your mind about your order, return the product(s) in accordance with our return policy.

We will always aim to get your pack to the post office within 48 hours of receiving your order.  However, should your order be placed on a bank holiday or weekend then it can take longer. Although Royal Mail aim to deliver within 1-2 days, please allow 3-5 working days before contacting us.  Please note: Once we post your documents we have no control or influence over the time frames in which your pack is delivered by Royal Mail. The guarantee to deliver your package is made by Royal Mail and not Emerald Heritage.  Therefore,  Emerald Heritage cannot accept responsibility for the late arrival of your order or if items are lost in the post by Royal Mail.
